Touted as one of the hottest drummers on the planet, Cindy moves easily from straight-ahead jazz to rock to funk and back again. She is best known for performing with retro-funk-rocker Lenny Kravitz for over a decade, where she has been seen and heard by millions of people all over the world. Cindy has upheld the backbeat and created texture for a veritable “Who’s Who” in jazz including Jackie McLean, Ron Carter, Buster Williams, Joe Henderson, Don Pullen, Mike Stern and Pharaoh Sanders. Additionally, she has been a very successful leader of her own group where her physical and musical talents have made her a creative force to be reckoned with!
