Gypsy guitar

In the tradition of the legendary Selmer-Maccaferri guitars, and inspired in particular by the Di Mauro Special Chorus, the ALTAMIRA Gypsy Jazz M01F is a gypsy jazz guitar crafted from carefully selected woods: European spruce top, laminated Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.
Altamira guitars are produced by an experienced team led by Hanson Yao, the brand's owner and himself a master luthier who acquired his expertise at the famous Rodriguez workshops in Spain.
Gypsy Jazz models are built using traditional techniques, by two specialized luthiers who have been specifically trained for the task.

Essai concluant par rapport aux deux autres modèles inférieurs qui manquaient de bas médiums. L'essence des bois et surtout la table vieillie artificiellement bonifie l'ensemble.
Très bonne finition. La hauteur des cordes est très bonne juste assez haute pour une bonne attaque sans frise.
Un très bel instrument et un case de très bonne qualité

Equipe StarsMusic Bordeaux au top de la qualité d'accueil.
Guitare bonne projection, facile à jouer...mais problème avec les finitions...c'est dommage

Guitariste amateur passionné de jazz, ça faisait longtemps que je voulais ajouter une manouche à mon arsenal.
Après avoir regardé plusieurs vidéos et lu quelques avis sur les guitares Altamira, je suis passé au magasin de Lille pour tester avec mes yeux, mes doigts et mes oreilles...
Bref, j'ai testé le modèle petite bouche qui sonnait tout à fait bien, mais lorsque j'ai testé ce modèle à ouies en "f", j'ai pris une grosse claque et je suis tombé sous le charme.
Alors certes, il s'agit d'une guitare dont le style musical est plutôt difficile à appréhender et dont - pour des question de volume sonore -, la hauteur des cordes est un peu plus haute que sur une guitare acoustique standard, mais une fois habitué, elle sonne divinement bien, elle est très dynamique, pleine d'harmoniques et la table vibre selon l'intention qu'on y met.
En plus elle est très agréable à jouer et personnellement, j'ai tout de suite accroché avec ce modèle qui me donne l'envie de me plonger dans le répertoire de Django, Bireli et Angelo.

Un tout grand merci au vendeur du rayon guitares de Lille qui m'a laissé le temps de les essayer et qui m'a spécialement préparé la version antique pour que je puisse l'essayer également.

Une excellente guitare pour l'apprentissage du jazz manouche. Elle a tout d'une grande.
Belle sonorité belle lutherie (avec quelques quelques petits défauts) et une action facile.
Convient parfaitement à un débutant en jazz manouche comme moi.
