Hereinafter referred to as "Star's Music"
and, for the other party, the persons wishing to make a purchase on the Internet website https://www.stars-music.fr hereinafter referred to as "the user". Both parties agree that their relationship is governed exclusively by the present terms and conditions of sale, available on the day of purchase. If one condition were to be lacking, it would be considered as governed by the prevailing practices applicable to distance selling for companies with a registered head office in France.
THE ORDER
The user can either place his order on-line on our website https://www.stars-music.fr or by telephone by dialling ++33 1 81 93 09 00 (local call charges from landline, additional charge may occur depending on operator).
The order can only be registered on the website if the user is clearly identified by entering his email address (or Star's Music website specific ID) and his password that are strictly private. All website users a personal client ID will have to follow the subscription procedure allowing him to get access to his own client account. These are personal access codes. In case of loss, the user will only need to follow the on-line procedure allowing to retrieve your forgotten password or to contact customer services on +33 1 81 93 09 00 (local call charges from landline, additional charge may occur depending on operator). All orders placed imply acceptance of product prices and descriptions available on the day of sale. Any dispute on that point will be limited to an eventual exchange and the warranties listed below.
The user will be able to modify his cart before final validation, this step will formalize the sale agreement between Star's Music and the user The company Star's Music commits to deliver the orders placed on the website only within the limit of stock availability. In some cases, in particular absence of payment, address error or other issues on the user account, Star's Music reserves the right to block the user's order until problem resolution.

DELIVERY
Products purchased through our website are only delivered in Mainland France, in
Corsica, in the Overseas Departments and Territories and some countries within the
European Union by our partners Colissimo, GLS, Chronopost, Calberson and DB
Schenker. The amount of the delivery charges will be indicated before validation of
the order.
• Economic Standard
Standard delivery orders are dispatched with our partner Colissimo or GLS. However, depending on dimensions of your parcel, Star's Music may be required to use express carrier services, without any additional cost for the buyer.• Chronopost- Express
The express delivery orders are dispatched with our partner Chronopost.• DB Schenker - Heavy Products
Orders with products weighing more than 30 kilograms are dispatched with our partner Calberson or DB Schenker.• STORE PICK UP - Click & Collect
Internet orders can be collected directly in the Star's Music store of your choice in Paris, Lille, Lyon or Toulouse, determined when placing the order. The client will be informed by email and telephone to confirm the receipt of the order to come and pick it up in store, with his personal identification documents.The delivery of acoustic pianos and the delivery of heavy products to the floor (more than 30kg) are subjected to additional costs. Please consult us.
Floor delivery for digital pianos is an option subjected to invoicing for Paris and the Greater Paris area. Please consult us.
Indicated delivery times are not guaranteed during high activity periods such as sales or Christmas time, and for some made-to-measure or customized products that can not be associated with standard delivery times.
Products are delivered at the address you indicated while placing your order. The contribution to shipping costs is also clearly indicated on the order form. This is calculated depending on the total amount of the order, its total weight and volume of the product(s) ordered. The amount of that contribution will automatically add up on the order form. Star's Music will not be held responsible for consequences attached to a delayed delivery.
CAUTION - You must verify the compliance of the delivered goods as soon as they arrive before signing the delivery note and where you can write down any reserves you may have regarding delivery issues (damaged product...) and then sign. We invite you to refuse the delivery of any parcel containing damaged goods. This parcel will then be returned to the shipper, STAR'S MUSIC.
We will refund you or exchange the products that do not correspond to your order (faulty or non-compliant).

PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros inclusive of all taxes. These prices do not include contribution to processing fees (carriage, packaging and preparation of the parcel at the applicable rates). They include the applicable VAT on the day the order was placed. Any change to the applicable rate may be passed on to the products prices. However, no price can be changed once the client's order has been validated. Besides, if one or several taxes or contributions, in particular environmental ones, were to be created or modified, increasing or decreasing, that change may be passed on to the selling price of the articles listed on the Star's Music website.
Why are prices changing?
On a daily basis we are monitoring prices in order to provide you with the best
deals available. That is the reason why prices may fluctuate from one day to
another. Besides, our suppliers can also modify their own prices without notice,
thus impacting our prices in either a positive or negative way .
Prices indicated on the website are guaranteed as long as they are displayed
online.
Star's Music website reserves itself the right to modify its prices at any given
time but the products will be invoiced according to the applicable prices at the
time of registration of the orders, subject to availability on that date. Title
retention clause The products remain the property of STAR'S MUSIC until full payment
of the invoiced price.
In order to claim French VAT refund, in case of purchase made by a client residing outside the European Union or French Overseas Departments, it will need to fulfill the conditions required under the applicable legislation and the customs services.
PAYMENT METHODS
The user can choose to pay for his purchase with the following:
• BY CREDIT CARD, VISA AND MASTERCARD
For our safety and to limit the risk of fraud, besides the card number, expiry date and security code, the cardholder must identify on to his own bank system providing a code or personal data through the 3D Secure System.
What is 3D Secure? It is a system developed by both credit cards networks Visa and MasterCard to certify the cardholders. The regulation has changed on October 1st 2008, and French banks have generalized 3D Secure to all cardholders. Depending on the card network, it comes under two different names: Verified by Visa for the Visa/Electron or MasterCard Secure Code for the MasterCard/Maestro cards.

As soon as we actually receive your payment, we inform you and the equipment is
dispatched.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
All products can be subject to withdrawal right, to substitution or refund, except
for the legal exceptions of the following items:
- Special customization of products requested by the client or clearly modified;
- Items which, after delivery and by their nature, are assembled with other products
and indivisible such as for example software included with controllers, if the
client registered them on-line, the software is useless and the controller can not
be resold;
- Products delivered in a sealed packaging for hygiene reasons such as reeds boxes,
mouthpieces, harmonicas and all associated accessories (we will not accept the
returning of theses goods if the package is not sealed any more)
- Audio/video recordings or softwares once the client has reaped the seal off after
delivery;
- as well as returned goods that would be incomplete, worn down, damaged or dirty
because of the Client.
The client can indeed test the product but he will be held responsible in case of
diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary
to ascertain the nature, specifications and functioning of these goods (Article L.
121-21-3 al. 3 French Consumer Code).
The right to return the goods will only be accepted for complete products, in their
original condition (packaging, accessories, manual) and a copy of the invoice.
For purchases made on the Star's Music website, returns or exchange requests by the
client must be done within a 30 days period starting on the date of reception or
collection of the parcel. In case of an order for several products, the 30 days
period to notify withdrawal only begins on the day of reception of the last product
delivered. The client will bear the return charges, postage cost for returned parcel
is somewhere between 5,50€ for a light parcel and starting at 28€ for heavy items of
more than 30kg.
For purchases made in a Star's Music store, all purchases are firm and definitive
and do not benefit from the same return conditions available on the on-line store.

• RETURN FOR EXCHANGE
If the amount of the replacement order is higher than the original one, the client will have to attach the payment of the discrepancy to his exchange request. Conversely, if the amount of the exchange order is lower than the original amount, upon reception of this request, the client will receive a cheque-letter or a credit note to use on the website as a promo code, to refund the discrepancy.

Still, we will always be able to offer a credit note to use on a future order.
Star's Music reserves the right to diminish the value of a returned
product when:
- The returned product was tested by the client beyond what is
considered normal
- The product returned was incomplete (manual, original packaging,
documents, protections...)
Star's Music reserves the right to evaluate the reduction, the
client will be informed by telephone and if appropriate by mail.

WARRANTIES
All products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity (L211-4 and following articles of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code) allowing the client to return any faulty item delivered. Star's Music grants all his clients with a contractual three years warranty on products displaying the 3 years Star's Music warranty..
We are not responsible for any deterioration of products occurring during their movement by carrier.
Exclusions to the warranty:
- turntable cells or diamonds or any other element who automatically get worn down
when used, as well as cables and consumables.
- Loudspeaker voice coils burnt caused by non suited amplification will not be
covered by the warranty.
- products showing by their condition or the observed faults inappropriate usage of
the equipment: Connection to a different mains voltage than the one indicated on the
manual (for example, non-regulated powered generators).
- equipment having taken in water, electrical shocks or physical collisions.
- broken or missing pieces (potentiometers, handles...)
- equipment opened or modified without authorization from the Star's Music service
department.
- electronic tubes, except otherwise stated, have a three (3) months warranty
starting on the day of invoicing (relatively to the warranty of duration of the
tubes, expressed in hundreds or thousands of statistic hours, Star's Music reserves
the right to evaluate the validity of a standard exchange request for a faulty tube
in comparison with the manufacturer data).
- second hand guitars have a 6 months warranty

items, were tested and they are in full functioning operation. They benefit from the
same duration of warranty coverage as the products sealed in their original

You are responsible for the delivery costs. No cash on delivery will be accepted for any reason. The customer must declare the value of the product, as mentioned in the purchase invoice, guaranteeing full insurance cover for the risks of return.
The after-sales service processing time is at least 1 month. In the event of a part to be ordered from the supplier/brand, within the framework of a repair, this time may be extended. Beyond this time, you can contact the after-sales service by email at sav@musicbusiness.fr concerning purchases made on the Stars-Music.fr website and at the Star's Music Paris shop. For after-sales service concerning purchases at Star's Music shops in Lille, Lyon, Toulouse and Brussels, please contact the shops directly.
The guarantee for hidden defects and faults is defined by articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, allowing the customer to return the defective item(s) at the seller's expense.
The guarantee of the equipment will only be effective after validation by the manufacturer. Any refusal by the manufacturer will be subject to an estimate, with invoicing of the diagnosis including postage and labour costs.
We are not responsible for any damage to the products that may occur during transport. transported by carrier.
Excluded from warranty and after-sales service:
- Wear parts (example: start / stop button, fader)
