Gypsy guitar
Following in the footsteps of the legendary Selmer-Maccaferri models, the ALTAMIRA Gypsy Jazz MD is a large-mouth gypsy jazz guitar made from carefully selected woods: European spruce top, laminated flamed maple back and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Altamira guitars are produced by an experienced team led by Hanson Yao, the brand's owner and himself a master luthier who acquired his expertise in the famous Rodriguez workshops in Spain.
Gypsy Jazz models are built using traditional techniques, by two specialized luthiers who have been specifically trained for the task.
