Bass preamp
Ampeg today presents the SGT-DI preamp and DI box, a complete solution for modern bassists in a simple pedal. The SGT-DI is compact, easy to transport and use. It features an optimized Super Grit Technology overdrive circuit including the sounds of the legendary Ampeg SVT and B15 amps, plus a versatile three-band EQ for sweeping the midrange. It also features three-position Ultra-Lo and Ultra-Hi switches, a 10:1 variable compressor, auxiliary input and headphone output.
In addition to its analog circuitry, the SGT-DI incorporates Ampeg's very first speaker cabinet simulator/impulse response hoster. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for controlling every aspect of the bass sound. Bassists can choose one of the three classic Ampeg speaker cabinets included as standard, or load up to three impulse responses of their choice using the free Ampeg IR Loader app.
