Audiophony Myos08A

The Audiophony MYOS08A is an 8-inch active PA loudspeaker delivering 700 W RMS thanks to a bi-amplified amplifier module (350 W for bass, 350 W for treble). Constructed from 15 mm multi-ply wood and coated with scratch-resistant Polyurea paint, it is designed for intensive performances: DJs, events, concerts, fixed installations.

Its advanced DSP makes it easy to adapt sound reproduction to any configuration (monitor, front, floor, with or without cabinet). Its high power handling, controlled directivity and numerous attachment points make it a compact yet professional loudspeaker, ideal for service providers and small, demanding structures.

Power and amplification

An 8? active loudspeaker with integrated 700 W RMS / 1400 W max amplification, the MYOS08A offers a comfortable power reserve for most PA applications. Its dedicated bi-amplification ensures firm, precise bass while preserving midrange and treble clarity, even at high volume.

Dedicated bass/treble bi-amplification

The amplifier section is divided into two blocks: a 350 W RMS Class D module for bass, guaranteeing high efficiency and controlled heating, and a 350 W RMS Class AB module for treble, emphasizing musicality and finesse at the top end of the spectrum. This architecture ensures a balanced dynamic response and excellent signal control.

Integrated DSP and advanced settings

The integrated DSP offers advanced presets and settings (position, mode, equalizer, LED management, reset, info) to quickly adapt the loudspeaker to the context: stage monitor, stand-mounted front panel, reinforcement with subwoofer, or fixed installation. These optimizations make it possible to achieve consistent sound reproduction without the need for an external processor.

Wooden construction and robustness

The MYOS08A benefits from a reinforced 15 mm multi-ply body with bandpass system, offering improved sound projection and increased rigidity. The Polyurea textured anti-scratch paint finish ensures excellent resistance to knocks and scratches, ideal for intensive use on tour or in regular performances.

Finish, ergonomics and installation

The front panel is protected by an integral metal grille, complemented by a Power/Clip LED on the front panel for immediate visual indication of operation and level. The double 36 mm base (0° and 7.5°) allows use on a stand with different angles of inclination, while the 10 M8 inserts facilitate mounting on a lyre or structure. These features make installation fast, reliable and suitable for a wide range of configurations.

Compatibility with accessories and extensions

The MYOS08A is compatible with the COV-Myos8 protective cover, which effectively protects the loudspeaker during transport and storage. It can also be combined with the Myos15ASub subwoofer to create a more powerful 2.1 system, better suited to music requiring significant reinforcement in the lower end of the spectrum.
