Benson amps Milkman Sound The Amp

The result of a collaboration between Benson Amps and Milkman Sound, the BENSON AMPS & MILKMAN SOUND The Amp is an electric guitar amp in pedal format. Inspired by the Benson Chimera amp, the preamp circuit is built around a 12AX7 tube, while the Class D power stage develops 200 Watts into 4 Ohms, 100 Watts into 8 Ohms and 50 Watts into 16 Ohms.
The Benson Amp can be used in the traditional way, connected to a speaker cabinet, or on a mixing/recording console via XLR output equipped with an analog cabinet simulation. Inspired by a Benson 1x12 Oversized loudspeaker captured with an AEA N22 ribbon mic, the Benson The Amp is equipped with a digital reverb circuit (algorithm designed by Robert Keeley) and an ampli-OP Clean Boost that can generate up to +24dB of gain. The latter is placed upstream of the preamp, enabling a wider range of reactive saturations.
The Room potentiometer adjusts the reverb level directly at the XLR output. You'll find this inspiring sound directly on the amp's headphone output, a 6.35mm jack on the front panel for silent playing.
