Electric guitar power amp
Compact, powerful and flexible, the BLACKSTAR Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is a true power amp for electric guitar, housed in a compact pedal chassis. Simply connect it between your pedalboard or multi-effects unit and a speaker cabinet or console. The Dept. 10 AMPED 1 has been designed for optimum performance with both eight-ohm and sixteen-ohm speaker cabinets. A three-position power attenuator (100 Watts, 20 Watts, 1 Watt) lets you adapt to different conditions of use (live, studio, home). The "Response" control features five modes that authentically reproduce the behavior of KT88, 6L6, EL34, 6V6 or EL84 tubes. The "Linear" mode offers transparent amplification, which can be useful in certain configurations, and the "Voice" control lets you choose between US, British or neutral voicing.
The Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is not to be outdone in terms of connectivity. Low-latency USB audio interface for recording, and XLR D.I. for live use. Blackstar offers you the Architect Cab Rig application, an extremely powerful and flexible latest-generation DSP speaker cabinet simulator (via XLR or stereo jack output). Architect Cab Rig reproduces the sound and feel of a "microphoned" speaker cabinet with incredible veracity and zero latency. Much more realistic and powerful than traditional IR technology, you can choose from a variety of speaker cabinet styles, microphones and rooms. A reverb circuit is integrated into the processor. Type, time and tone parameters can be customized using the Architect application and then loaded into the pedal circuit. You can even activate a Freeze effect by holding down the Reverb switch.
