To enrich your solos or simply to break into the mix, the booster is an indispensable pedal. That's why Boss has decided to push the search for the ultimate boost via the performance obtained through the analog circuits found in the brand's classics, the CE-1 Chorus and RE-201 Space Echo. The Boss BP-1W pedal from the Waza series (made in Japan), is a boost pedal based on the sonic richness of these analog preamp circuits. If you want to color your sound, you can also add gain (very useful if you want to customize your amp's saturated channel). A switch also lets you access two types of buffer, Standard or Vintage. Standard mode offers a very pure boost without coloration, while Vintage mode brings warmth and a softer dynamic response.
