Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion: dual-mode saturation to expand the sound palette from rhythmic Blues-Rock to intense Rock-Hard leads. The DS-2 pedal is a Boss-modified DS-1 pedal with revised output level and tone circuitry. The DS-2 pedal has slightly more volume, responds much better to the guitar's volume potentiometer, and the tone is more usable than on a DS-1. Mode 2 is a footswitch-controlled switch that boosts the midrange for a whole range of really interesting additional sounds.
