Guitar amp modeling simulation
The BOSS GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor features a reworked interface very similar to Line 6's Helix, and AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology for optimal amp modeling.
AIRD (based on Tube Logic technology) uses an ultra-fast DSP (32-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit floating-point processing and 96 kHz sampling frequency). AIRD amps have the temperament of authentic tube amps. AIRD Output Select lets you combine the GT-1000 with any system, whether with a traditional amp or direct recording. The GT-1000 comes with a copious collection of Boss effects (algorithms from the DD-500, MD-500 and RV-500 pedals) with various routing possibilities, in series or parallel. Latency when changing presets is infinitesimal. 38-second looper (mono).
With its large display equipped with 6 freely assignable rotary potentiometers, 10 footswitches with colored LEDs, built-in expression pedal, high-precision tuner and all the connectivity you can imagine (mono and polyphonic modes, stereo Jack and XLR outputs, stereo effect loop, external control via footswitches, expression pedals, MIDI and USB, Bluetooth for controlling the device via an iOS or Android smartphone), the GT-1000 is a must-have in its category.
