Although BOSS distortion pedals are as popular as ever, the MT-2 and DS-2 focus more on midrange distortion: rock and heavy music are back in vogue, and even 7-string guitars are being used to achieve an ultra-heavy distortion sound.
To keep up with the current trend, we're offering this new MD-2: it provides more linear and powerful distortion of the low end. The MD-2 therefore covers both the typical heavy metal sound of the '80s and the latest generation of New Metal. The MD-2 features three different distortion circuits and incorporates the ?separate circuit? concept. By combining these circuits, the MD-2 is able to produce an extremely heavy distortion sound.
