Overdrive, distortion, fuzz effect pedal for bass
CMC AUDIO Proto Type V2 Bass Overdrive is for bassists looking for a versatile, organic and subtle.
Developped around a CMOS inverter chip (cf Way Huge Red Llama), it produces light to medium overdrives, slightly fuzz, very responsive to musician playing dynamics, and without alteration of the sound.
Input signal is divided in two paths, one going through distortion, the other staying clean. They are then optimally merged to preserve low frequencies, clarity and transparency.
V2 adds an internal voltage booster for optimum signal treatment.
