Overdrive, distortion, fuzz effect pedal for bass
The CMC AUDIO Proto Type V2 Bass Overdrive pedal has been designed for bassists looking for flexible, organic and subtle saturation.
Built around an inverting CMOS chip (cf Way Huge Red Llama), it produces light-to-medium overdrive, moderately fuzzed, very responsive to touch, without altering the signal, especially in the low end of the spectrum. The signal is split at the input, one path directed to the saturation circuit, the second unprocessed. In addition to gain and volume controls, the Proto Type V2 is equipped with "Contour" for low-midrange frequencies (500 Hz), "Low Cut" for low frequencies before saturation, "Nose" for midrange frequencies (1 kHz), and "Treble" for high/midrange frequencies.
This V2 evolution benefits from an internal voltage booster for greater dynamics and amplitude, and polarity protection.
