The XS coating gives our balanced, warm Phosphor Bronze strings maximum life and a surprisingly soft feel. Incorporating an NY Steel core, phosphor bronze fillet and Fusion Twist technology, XS coated strings for acoustic guitars boast incomparable breakage resistance and tuning stability, as well as radically extended life. This 11.5 - 53 Custom Light Plus set is a balanced intermediate solution between our two most popular String gauges, with light tension on the low strings and slightly less on the high strings to facilitate bends and solos.
