The Octave Clang v2 is a pseudo-ring/distortion/noise/octave pedal that creates a unique sound from a specially sourced transformer and precisely matched diodes. This generates extremely rich harmonics and a purely analog upper octave. The octave effect is created by adding two half-wave and out-of-phase copies of your signal.
This works well for single notes, but when complex chords and waveforms reach the circuit, it distorts and blends them in an organic and beautifully chaotic way. Use this pedal as an excellent distortion pedal without the octave, then activate the octave to make a splash!
