Can it handle a complex live setup?

The keyboard can operate with four internal parts—Main, Lower, Coupled, and Pedal—in addition to four MIDI zones. This architecture allows for layer settings, keyboard splits, or the control of external MIDI modules and instruments, ensuring the VIVO S10 L isn’t limited to the role of a simple stage piano.

The 9 motorized drawbars/faders change function depending on their use. They are used, in particular, for tone wheel organ drawbars, mixing, equalization, and controlling master keyboard functions. Their motorized mechanism physically returns them to the position corresponding to the loaded setting, which is useful when multiple configurations are recalled during a concert.

What sounds are available?

The Advanced T2L engine combines sampling and modeling. The VIVO S10 L offers 180 sounds and over 100 organ presets, featuring various organ types including tone wheel, transistor, and pipe organs.

The 3.2 GB wave memory can be reconfigured with Dexibell sounds or SoundFont files. Dexibell sounds can be loaded from a USB flash drive, allowing you to gradually adapt the instrument to a repertoire or production without replacing the keyboard.

What effects can be adjusted directly on the instrument?

The VIVO S10 L features 12 independent DSPs distributed across its various sections, as well as 24 types of reverb. The organ sounds also include dedicated effects such as Rotary, Overdrive, and Vibrato/Chorus.

Effects and playing parameters can thus be organized by section rather than applying a single, identical effect to the entire keyboard. This separation is particularly useful when multiple sounds are layered or distributed across different zones.

How can it be integrated into a sound system or studio?

The main left and right outputs are available via balanced XLR connectors for direct connection to a compatible mixing console, audio interface, or sound system. Two 6.35 mm jack outputs can also be used as assignable outputs, allowing certain parts to be routed separately to specific effects or channels.

The USB port to the computer carries both MIDI and digital audio for input and output. The VIVO S10 L can therefore exchange audio with a compatible computer without always requiring an additional analog audio connection.

The connectivity options also include MIDI In, Out, and Thru, a mini-jack auxiliary input, and several pedal jacks. A DX CP1 continuous pedal and a plexiglass music stand are included.

What are the Bluetooth connections for?

Bluetooth Audio receives an audio stream from a compatible device. It can, for example, be used to wirelessly feed an external audio source into the keyboard, but it does not mean that the VIVO S10 L transmits its own sound to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.

Bluetooth MIDI handles MIDI data exchange separately. Dexibell uses it, in particular, with the VIVO Editor app on a compatible iOS device to access the instrument’s programs and settings wirelessly.
