Dexibell VIVOS10L

The Dexibell VIVO S10 L is a stage piano designed for keyboardists who switch between pianos, organs, and MIDI control during concerts. It incorporates the features of the VIVO S10 in a 76-key synthesizer-style format, weighing 12 kg without the power supply.

Key Features

• A velocity-sensitive keyboard for nuanced expression, in a more compact format than an 88-key model.
• Nine motorized sliders to adjust organ sounds, levels, and other parameters while playing.
• A reloadable library of Dexibell and SoundFont sounds to adapt the instrument to your repertoire.
• Four internal parts and four MIDI zones to organize piano sounds and control external instruments.
• Balanced XLR outputs and assignable jack outputs to route sounds to the mixing console or separate equipment.

Touch and Key Response

The synthesizer-style keyboard features a light touch. It’s well-suited for setups combining multiple sound families, but deserves your consideration if you’re primarily looking for a hammer-action mechanism for piano performance. Sensitivity settings adjust the sound response to your touch without changing the key resistance.

Sounds and Live Control

The Advanced T2L engine combines sampling and modeling. The library includes pianos, orchestral sounds, and synthesizers, as well as over 100 organ presets. You can replace the sounds loaded into the 3.2 GB memory with Dexibell libraries or compatible SoundFont files.

The drawbars are used, among other things, to modify the harmonic components of organ sounds or to balance the levels. The Main, Lower, Coupled, and Pedal sections allow you to layer sounds or distribute them across the keyboard. Organ-specific effects include a rotating cabinet simulation, overdrive, and vibrato/chorus.

Connections and Recording

The MIDI In, Out, and Thru jacks, along with the four MIDI zones, allow you to integrate external modules into your setup. The USB connection to a computer transmits MIDI data and digital audio in both directions. The USB flash drive recorder saves your performance as a WAV audio file.

Bluetooth audio receives music from a compatible device so you can play along with accompaniment. Bluetooth MIDI allows you to modify programs and settings using the VIVO Editor app on a compatible iOS device.

Setup and Pedal

The VIVO S10 L can be used with headphones or an external amplifier. Its two headphone jacks support both 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm connectors. You’ll also need a suitable stand for setting it up.

The manufacturer’s package includes the power supply, a DX MSK plexiglass music stand, and a DX CP1 continuous pedal. This pedal allows you to control the sustain of notes rather than operating solely in an all-or-nothing manner. The stand and bench are not included among the supplied accessories.
