Digitech TRIO+

The remarkable DIGITECH TRIO+ Band Creator + Looper pedal lets you automatically generate a bass/drums sequence from the score you're playing. In practice, it's ultra-simple: connect your guitar to the TRIO+, press the "Band" footswitch so that the TRIO+ analyzes your chords and rhythm, then press "Band" again to play along with your custom rhythm section!
You can adjust the volume of the drums and bass separately, and choose between three bass lines of varying complexity. Twelve musical genres are available: Blues, R&B, Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, Pop, Electronic Pop, Hip-Hop, Country, Folk, Latin, & Jazz, as well as twelve distinct styles (Style Encoder) for each genre; for example, you can opt for a 3/4 or 4/4 signature for a given genre.
TRIO+ lets you assemble five different sequences for the same song, so you can create a complete track with intro, verse, chorus, bridge and ending. The five parts can be programmed in the desired order, or called up during playback on the fly (the optional DigiTech FS3X footswicth will come in handy in this case). Up to twelve songs & loops can be recorded via the included SD card. If you need additional capacity, simply insert another SD card. Digitech has developed the free Librarian Manager software for Windows® & Mac® to organize your tracks. The TRIO+ also includes a Looper to create as many additional guitar parts (overdubs) as you like; each loop can be recorded independently as with a traditional looper, or combined with bass/drum sequences.
