If the DIMARZIO Evolution Bridge DP159 Humbucker (WH) humbucking pickup (Ceramic magnets) is right for Steve Vai, we can only hope it's right for most of us; it also works perfectly well on a variety of solid and hollow bodies. The neck (DP158) sounds thick and dynamic, with a medium output level; the bridge (DP159) is straight and aggressive, with a medium + output level. They offer richer harmonics than many other humbucking pickups.
