If the DIMARZIO Evolution Neck DP158 Humbucker (WH) humbucking pickup (Ceramic magnets) is good enough for Steve Vai, we can hope it's good enough for most of us; it also works perfectly well on various types of solid or hollow bodies. The neck (DP158) sounds thick, dynamic with a medium output level; the bridge (DP159) is straight, aggressive with a medium + output level. They offer richer harmonics than many other humbucking pickups.
