Freshly pressed, here's the Compressor 280 DOD 2014 Edition: tame the dynamics of your instrument! True to its first version, the Compressor 280 (2014) uses a high-quality electro-optical circuit that will give you more sustain and consistency. While the COMP and OUTPUT knobs still allow you to set the compression level and final output level, the 2014 edition has been updated and now features an LED to indicate its operation, and True Bypass wiring means your signal won't be affected when the effect is deactivated. The electro-optical circuit depends on a photo resistor and an internal LED. With the COMP potentiometer at the beginning of the stroke, soft playing gains in presence and definition, and powerful playing is subtly leveled. With the COMP potentiometer at 5 o'clock, the attack of each note is cut but they gain in sustain. The 2014 version can now be powered via a 9V DC supply, making it easier to find a place for it on your pedal board.
