Guitar amp modeling simulation
The DSM & HUMBOLDT Simplifier X Zero Watt Reverb Stereo / Dual Amplifier is one of the best analog guitar amp simulators on the market. No indecipherable menus, no latency, ultra-realistic tones, true stereo (two inputs / two outputs), this is a processor of the highest quality.
Equipped with two totally independent amplification circuits, each with its own input preamp, power amp, speaker cabinet, reverb, effects loop and outputs, it's extremely flexible (channels can be selected from a footswitch supplied with the Simplifier X).
Channel A is dedicated to generous, even high-gain saturation, while Channel B is suitable for clean, moderately saturated sounds (blues) and rock rhythms.
These two amps can be configured in three distinct output modes:
- A/B AMP + A/B CAB mode - dual mono, as if you had two separate amps you could use alternately - A/B AMP + Stereo CAB mode - toggle between the two amps, with speaker cabinets and effects loops acting simultaneously (they can be different for each channel, offering great sonic options to multiply stereo potential) - Full Parallel mode - use two separate or similar rigs simultaneously.
Each channel has its own independent stereo reverb circuit. You can choose between three types of reverb: Short (room style), Mid (plate style), Long (ether style). An assignable AUX input lets you redirect the signal to the headphone or XLR outputs.
