John Pisano is a New York guitarist, universally regarded as one of the best jazz players in the USA. He emerged on the jazz scene in the mid-1950s, and made his first recording in 1958/59 alongside the legendary Billy Bean. Although his name is less well known than some, you've undoubtedly heard his guitar work. He became an active member of the Los Angeles recording studios, collaborating with such renowned artists as Buddy DeFranco, Red Norvo, Bud Shank and Benny Goodman. He has also accompanied many of the world's leading artists on stage, including Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Burt Bacharach, Frank Sinatra, Michael Franks, Clare Fischer, Julie London, Bobby Troup, Natalie Cole, Joe Pass Barbra Streisand and Diana Krall.
