Harmonizer effect pedal for bass
With circuitry that's still 100% analog, an additional Tone potentiometer, improved and more precise note tracking, and the ability to power the pedal up to 18V for greater volume and clarity, the EBS OctaBass Blue Label bass effect pedal pushes the possibilities of the original 1992 EBS L'OctaBass bass octave even further. The OctaBass Blue Label now features 3 control potentiometers to sculpt your octave effect in even greater detail. The Normal knob controls the volume of the "dry" sound mix, without effect. The Octave knob adjusts the amount of signal affected by the octave effect. This version's new Tone potentiometer changes the character of the lower octave note. A high setting gives a more present, focused sound that cuts through the mix. This is also suitable for using the pedal with guitar and other high-pitched instruments. Use lower Tone settings to obtain low frequencies or subs that discreetly support the note you're playing in the background. The Tone control thus enhances the palette of possible sounds, and also makes it easier to achieve a synth-bass sound. A new Rang switch lets you move the optimized tracking zone up or down the notes played on the neck, to suit your playing style and needs even better. This feature makes the tracking speed and range exceptional for an analog octave pedal. Note: Don't confuse this switch with the range selector found on previous OctaBass pedals, where it changed the character of the sound.
