Solid body electric bass
TheEPIPHONE EB-3 Bass (Ebony) is the reissue of a vintage Gibson model for fans of 60-70's style and sound.
Introduced in 1961, the Gibson EB-3 was the bass version equivalent of the very popular SG, with the characteristic double scallop, a 30.5" scale (the Epiphone's was extended to 34"), and two humbucking pickups including a Mini-Humbucker in the bridge position and a Sidewinder Humbucker in the neck position. The Gibson EB-3 was discontinued at the end of the 1970s, and its most notable users were Jack Bruce of Cream, Andy Fraser of Free and Jim Lea of Slade. The Epiphone EB-3 appeals to a wide audience, thanks to its moderate price, but its personality and appreciable overall quality.
