The EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Futura Les Paul Custom solid body electric guitar (EIFLPCFSSNH ) is a modern, versatile reinterpretation of the legendary Gibson Les Paul from the late 1950's. Its luthiery takes up the essentials of the original specifications, with a mahogany body and set neck. On the other hand, the fingerboard is made of Ebony, a positive point if you like defined saturation. The 22 frets are stainless steel, another very qualitative argument, and it's equipped with new Epiphone ProBucker™ Ignite Humbuckers pickups that produce big saturations, without lacking clarity or nuance on clears and crunches. Dual push/pull volume knobs toggle each pickup from dual to single-coil. The tone potentiometers, also push/pull, activate phase inversion options. The Futura's playing comfort is absolutely remarkable, starting with an "Ultra Modern Weight Relief" body that makes the instrument noticeably lighter without compromising resonance or sustain. Add to this an ergonomic "Modern Contoured Heel", a Modern C neck profile and a hybrid radius ranging from 10" to 14", and you'll have no trouble getting through your most furious solos.
