Magnified by a Koa top, the EPIPHONE Les Paul Custom Koa (EILCKNAGH3 ) solid body electric guitar is a mainstream reinterpretation of the original Gibson Les Paul Custom, from which it takes the primordial Ebony fingerboard. The extra compression and precision generated by the Ebony fingerboard is particularly interesting for metal sounds.
Traditional construction with mahogany body, mahogany set neck (Slim Taper 60s C profile), Ebony fingerboard, Epiphone ProBucker 2 & 3 pickups. Since the change of management in 2018, the good news at Gibson has been one after the other: major investments to rehabilitate the production tool and offer higher, more homogeneous and consistent production quality, pricing revised downwards, redesigned ranges for greater readability, and icing on the cake quite a few new products.

Epiphone is following the same guideline, with a product range and nomenclature inspired by the Gibson range for greater consistency, and a number of new models produced in the USA.
