Epiphone Original Sheraton - vintage sunburst

Discover the EPIPHONE Original Archtops Collection Sheraton (EOSHVSGHR), a semi-hollow-body electric guitar that combines authenticity and versatility, while drawing inspiration from Epiphone’s iconic models.

Overview

After Gibson acquired Epiphone in 1957, the American company began producing a full line of semi-hollow guitars in 1958, inspired by the Epiphone Century archtops. The 1961 version with Mini-Humbucker pickups served as the basis for this Sheraton, which is a superbly crafted version for the general public, offering remarkable tonal character and versatility.

Premium materials for an authentic sound

Crafted with high-quality design, this guitar stands out for its maple and poplar body, its set mahogany neck, and its rosewood fingerboard (24.75" scale, 22 frets). This unique combination allows it to excel in a variety of musical genres, including:

• Blues
• Pop
• Jazz
• Classic Rock
• Hard Rock

A maple center block for improved sustain

The Sheraton’s maple center block enhances sustain while minimizing the feedback issues typical of hollow-body guitars. This design allows for higher levels of distortion, delivering an enriched playing experience.

Warm, dynamic tones with Mini Humbucker PRO pickups

The Epiphone Mini Humbucker PRO pickups, inspired by 1960s Gibson models, are designed to deliver a warm and dynamic tone, while providing superior brightness and precision thanks to their narrower magnetic field. You can also adjust their tone using the independent volume and tone knobs for each pickup.
