EVANS HD (Heavy Duty) Dry snare drum heads offer an ideal balance between durability and sonic response, with advanced attenuation of unwanted harmonics thanks to precision-drilled decompression vents.
HD Dry heads are manufactured with a 5 thousandths sandblasted outer film thickness, a 7.5 thousandths inner film thickness, as well as a 2 thousandths attenuator ring on the underside, and decompression vents around the perimeter to eliminate unwanted harmonics.
HD Dry skins benefit from a semi-defined attack, with short sustain and slightly less brightness than standard HD skins.
These sandblasted skins also incorporate Level 360 technology.
