EVANS G1 sandblasted skins are manufactured with a single 10 mil film thickness, for an ideal sonic balance between brilliance, sustain and sensitivity, as well as excellent durability.
The G1 range is the new benchmark for open, expressive sound. Tuned low, this skin produces a cavernous rumble that amplifies the natural sound of the barrel. The sandblasted version offers greater warmth, precision and depth.
EVANS Level 360 technology has been incorporated to extend the contact surface 360 degrees around the entire circumference of the barrel. The improved neck design ensures uniform contact with the barrel's bevel for easy mounting, an extended tonal palette and optimum sound quality.
