Reverb, delay & echo effect pedal
The Rainbow reverb is the ultimate digital reverb pedal. It is built around the well-known and reliable FV-1 DSP, which is itself used in most boutique pedals on the market. The Rainbow offers 5 reverb presets including 2 Shimmer algorithms, 2 classic reverb effects and 1 innovative Rotary Verb effect.
Foxgear's Rainbow, like all the brand's other pedals, features a 100% analog signal path with audio capacitors and a true relay bypass, so your sound won't be altered whether you're plugged directly into the amp or its effects loop. At the heart of the Rainbow is the Program selector, which works in harmony with the Multi setting, the latter's function differing according to the algorithm chosen. Then the Tone and Deep settings help you nuance each algorithm.
- Shimmer: The Shimmer effect is a well-known reverb that imitates the sound of an organ or several strings rising behind your notes and following the harmony of the chords you play, to impressive effect.
- Celestial: even more shimmer! High harmonies at different frequencies produce an even more effective, dynamic and touch-sensitive effect. The Deep setting then controls the frequency used for the shimmer effect.
- Rotary Verb: Imagine a vintage rotary speaker resonating endlessly in the Pantheon of Rome! With the Multi setting, you can change the LFO speed to increase or reduce modulation.
- Church: One of the best reverb effects around, use the Deep setting to turn a local church into a real Gothic cathedral!
- Spring: simulates an analog spring reverb, letting you choose the length with the Deep setting and vary the low-pass filter with the Multi setting.
