Modulation, chorus, flanger, phaser & tremolo effect pedal

When it comes to sound, the Free The Tone Tri-Avatar is already impressive in Mono, but that's nothing compared to Stereo, where it reveals all its qualities and, above all, the advantage of having 3 depth settings. Left sends out the left output, the second phase (center) sends out the left and right outputs, and Right sends out the right output. The result is a chorus with extraordinary depth and spatialization. The Tri-Avatar TA-1H is ultra-rich, precise, never muddy in the low end, retaining all attack and dynamics without tunnelling or crushing your original sound. It's lush, extremely dense and detailed. Having a Mix pot and a Hi-Cut allows you to really sculpt your sound down to the smallest detail and achieve a wide range of nuances. Whether you're looking for a subtle Chorus, very light and discreet, or a big 80's Chorus, slamming and deep, the Tri-Avatar can do it without any problem. During our tests, we compared it to other references in the genre (BOSS CE-1 and CE-2, Jacques, Arion etc...), none of which were able to hold a candle to the Tri-Avatar in terms of diffusion, dynamics and, above all, ease of use. Indeed, the Tri-Avatar is absolutely "dead silent" and absolutely transparent compared to the other models. It's worth noting the care taken with the power supply stage. As always with Free The Tone, the devil is in the details, and these make all the difference.
We also spent a lot of time testing the pedal on big lead sounds. It stacked up perfectly, providing just the right amount of pitch to reproduce the best lead sounds à la Landau, Lukather, Tim Pierce and others. Once again, this is where we see the difference with the competition, as the Tri-Avatar maintains unrivalled attack and dynamics, and a ridiculously low noise level.
