Reverb, delay & echo effect pedal
The GFI SYSTEM Specular Tempus boutique pedal puts the pressure on the shoulders of the likes of Strymon, Eventide or TC Electronic, with digital delay and stereo in/out reverb effects of impressive quality.
Programmable and MIDI-enabled (5-pin input for sending MIDI clock, PC Program Change or CC Control Change), the Specular Tempus comes with 32 algorithms, 32 presets (organized on four pages, each page containing four banks, each bank containing two patches A and B), tap-tempo functionality, and extended editing capabilities on PC/MAC thanks to the free SpecLab dedicated software.
You'll find two stereo inputs and two stereo outputs, a USB port for connecting the pedal to your computer system, and an effects loop (watch out for 3.5 mm jack plugs).
An Aux input lets you connect an external footswitch (from 1 to 3 selectors) to change amp channels directly from the Specular Tempus, or send the Tap Tempo signal to another processor to synchronize them. The machine's chassis is simple and elegant, supporting four potentiometers, a small knob, two footswitches, and a very simple, but well-backlit display that offers optimum legibility.
