Left-handed folk guitar
With its all-solid-wood construction (Sitka spruce top, mahogany body), rosewood fingerboard and LR Baggs VTC pre-amp, the GIBSON 50s J-45 Original Left Handed (OCRS4550VSL) is an electro-acoustic left-handed Dreadnought-style "Round-Shoulders" steel-string acoustic guitar as attractive as it is functional. Made in the USA and delivered in a deluxe hardshell case.
Since the change of management in 2018, there's been one good news story after another at Gibson: major investments to rehabilitate the production tool and offer higher, more homogeneous and consistent production quality, pricing revised downwards, redesigned ranges for greater clarity, and icing on the cake quite a few new products.
MaintenanceNitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibson instruments, plays a major role in the instrument's "breathing" thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish). To avoid damaging your guitar, we recommend Hercules stands with specially formulated, non-abrasive foams; for maintenance, Gibson's Vintage Restoration Kit ensures effective cleaning and polishing without risk.
