Electric guitar pickup
Introduced in 1990, the GIBSON '57 Classic (Gold, 2-Conductor, Potted, Alnico 2, 7.9K, PU57DBGC2) magnetic humbucking pickup for electric guitar can be placed in either neck or bridge position, and has the velvety, deep and overall character of the P.A.F. "Patent-Applied-For" pickups developed by Seth Lover in the '50s. Like the original P.A.F., it features Alnico II magnets and an equivalent number of coil turns for each row of magnets. This particular design gives it the depth and expressiveness that have made it such a success.
