Semi-hollow electric guitar

The GIBSON Custom Shop 1964 Trini Lopez Standard Reissue (64ESTLVOSCNH1) semi-hollow body electric guitar (with center block) is a replica of the original model by the artist who died in 2020. Both the musician and his instrument inspired many artists, including Dave Grohl and Noel Gallagher. Sold with Custom Shop case and certificate of authenticity. Since 2014, Gibson has been using "Hot Hide Glue" with the same characteristics as the adhesives used in the 1950s.
Made from animal proteins, it has the particular advantage of simplifying maintenance and repairs.MaintenanceThe nitrocellulose varnish, as on Gibson period instruments, plays a major role in the instrument's "breathing" thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish). To avoid damaging your guitar, we recommend Hercules stands with specially formulated, non-abrasive foams; for maintenance, Gibson's Vintage Restoration Kit ensures effective cleaning and polishing without risk.
