Semi-hollow electric guitar

Available since 1980, the Gibson B.B.King Lucille joined the Custom Shop division in 2005.
Inspired by the Gibson ES-355 long used by the Blues Boy of Itta Bena Mississippi, the GIBSON Custom Shop B.B. King Lucille Legacy (BBES355LLTEBGH1) is a highly versatile semi-hollow body, thanks in particular to its six-position Varitone selector that provides interesting out-of-phase textures in addition to the usual tones.
The absence of gills on the body effectively eliminates feedback problems, while generating more compressed bass frequencies than on a traditional ES-335. This means the BB King Lucille Legacy can handle higher levels of saturation.
