Limited edition of 50 - the GIBSON Custom Shop Jerry Kennedy Pretty Woman 1961 ES-335 Replica 1/2-body electric guitar (HS35P0PSL10759) is an exact replica of the personal model the guitarist used to play the famous riff on Roy Orbison's mega-hit "Pretty Woman".
This ES-335 has also been heard on classics by Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Tammy Wynette and many others, and was later used by his son Gordon Kennedy, on sessions with Peter Frampton, Garth Brooks and Faith Hill Jerry bought this instrument new in the summer of 1961, having just arrived in Nashville to start his career as a session musician. Two years later he fitted it with a system for tensioning the strings as on a steel guitar. Supplied in a Gibson hardshell case.
