Discover the Gibson L-00 Original Collection LG-00 Left-Handed, an electro-acoustic guitar that pays homage to a timeless classic while adding modern features for optimal playability.

Overview

Designed for left-handed players, the Gibson Original Collection LG-00 Left-Handed (OCSBL0HFVSL) is a reinterpretation of the famous compact Gibson L-00 steel-string acoustic guitar, produced between 1932 and 1945. With its compact size and short scale, it offers user-friendly ergonomics ideal for musicians, as well as remarkably balanced tones.

All-solid-wood construction for rich, warm tones

The LG-00 features an all-solid-wood construction, consisting of:

• Sitka spruce top
• Mahogany body and neck
• Rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets

This combination of materials produces clear, dynamic tones, perfect for musical styles such as fingerpicking, blues, or traditional folk.

An innovative recording system for exceptional acoustic fidelity

The L-00 Original is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system. This innovative preamp uses two sensors placed under the bridge plate, replacing the traditional piezo. These sensors capture the vibrations of the strings and the soundboard, delivering a sound that is even more natural and faithful to the original. Each sensor is paired with its own active preamp, with volume and tone controls accessible on the inner rim of the soundhole.
