Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s AAA - heritage cherry sunburst

The GIBSON USA Original Custom Color Collection Les Paul Standard 50s AAA solid body electric guitar (LPS5C21HSNH3) is fully in the spirit of the original Les Paul Standard from the late 1960's. The Les Paul Original Standard 50s features a solid mahogany body with AAA figured maple top, a Vintage 50's mahogany neck, and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are '57 Classic optimized for each position with AlNiCo V magnets. Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic beautifully reproduces the muffled depth and warmth of the P.A.F. "Patent-Applied-For" pickups developed by Seth Lover in the '50s. Like the P.A.F., it is built around Alnico II magnets, with a similar number of coil turns for each row of magnets. This particular design gives it the specific temperament that has made it such a success.
