Made in Japan, the GRETSCH Professional Collection Players Edition Tennessee Rose Electrotone Hollow Body with String-Thru Bigsby (2401417859) is an updated version of one of the brand's classics. It features the same basic characteristics: laminated maple top/bottom/sides, maple set neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, traditional Gretsch 24.6" scale.
The "Electrotone" body is an evolution of a sixties design, with less depth and artificial gills, allowing better feedback control and generating compressed bass.
The pickups are FT-67 Filter'Tron™ humbucking pickups featuring Gretsch sonic DNA with a very balanced sound. Powerful and open, with crystalline highs, full-bodied mids and robust bass, they will superbly convey the instrument's deep temperament. ,table 2"-deep maple body.
