A reinterpretation of the original 1967 Starfire Bass (notably used by Jack Casady / Jefferson Airplane and Phil Lesh / Grateful Dead), the GUILD Newark St. Collection Starfire I Bass (Pelham Blue)is a semi-hollow body electric bass with center block and short scale (30"). Top, back, sides and neck are laminated Maple, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.
The combination of this luthiery with BC-1 BiCoil pickups featuring AlNiCo V magnets provides a vast collection of rich, dynamic tones.
