Active full-range speaker
The new LINEAR 5 MKII series is a completely revised version of the successful LINEAR 5 series. Made in Germany and incorporating the latest technological innovations, it is aimed at professional groups and service providers looking for sophisticated, versatile, flexible and economical tools for their day-to-day activities.
One of the major evolutions of the MKII version is the addition of a powerful DSP, remotely controllable via dedicated software and an Ethernet connection. LINEAR 5 MKII loudspeakers can thus be integrated and managed over a network. HK has also provided for the possibility of including loudspeakers with their own DSP, offering even greater flexibility in professional installations.
A high-performance active point-source loudspeaker
Designed for broadcasting over medium distances, the LINEAR 5 MKII is a robust and reliable active point-of-source loudspeaker, suitable for live concerts, events and professional performances.
Clear, balanced reproduction
The midrange register is provided by 3 x 8" drivers, coupled to a 1" compression driver. compression driver, guaranteeing precise reproduction of high frequencies, for a powerful, balanced sound.
Innovative MCT waveguide
Equipped with an MCT (multi-cell transformer) waveguide, the LINEAR 5 MKII offers an asymmetrical dispersion of 60° x +5/-25°, enabling sound coverage to be adapted to different stage and audience configurations.
