The LINEAR 7 is the latest and most advanced speaker series in HK Audio's LINEAR range. Designed for professional bands, DJs and sound contractors, it offers next-generation power, precision and network connectivity.

Thanks to its high-end DSP technology, controllable via Ethernet, the LINEAR 7 offers complete and intuitive control, whether on stage, on tour or in a fixed installation. Robust and flexible, it sets the standard for the most demanding live applications.

Network control and advanced DSP technology

The heart of the LINEAR 7 series is a sophisticated DSP platform platform featuring a fully parametric 10-band equalizer, adjustable delay and precise limiter. Each speaker can be individually configured, offering total freedom to adapt to your sound environment.

Thanks to Ethernet connectivity, all LINEAR 7 speakers can be controlled from a dedicated a dedicated Windows and Mac OS compatible application (an iPad version is planned soon). This centralized control simplifies configuration management, whether for front-of-house or monitor applications.

Milan network management and extended compatibility

LINEAR 7 loudspeakers integrate the Milan protocol, the new standard for audio streaming over digital networks. This guarantees stable, low-latency transmission, perfectly suited to professional events and complex installations.

An additional DSP output makes it possible to integrate a non-compatible powered loudspeaker into the network, such as LINEAR SUB active subwoofers, while benefiting from remote control of LINEAR 7 DSP parameters.

Sound performance and precision

Thanks to its high-resolution 96 kHz converters and FIR, the LINEAR 7 guarantees faithful audio reproduction, minimal distortion and optimized directivity. Frequency spectrum coverage remains homogeneous and precise, even at high volumes.

The system also features configurable cardioid modes, for optimum low-frequency control and improved intelligibility on stage.

Practical and flexible installation

Every LINEAR 7 model featuresergonomic mounting and attachment options, facilitating installation on a stand, in a cluster or suspended. Access to instant presets makes for rapid use in monitoring mode, or in off-grid configuration.
