Classical guitar 4/4 size
Left-handed model. In the tradition of the popular Godin Multiac, theIBANEZ FRH10NL BSF is a hybrid guitar combining the fundamental acoustic characteristics of a nylon string with the playing comfort of an electric guitar (compact body, 25.5" scale, 22 frets).
With its solid Sitka spruce top, laminated Sapele body, Nyatoh glued neck and 22-fret Walnut fingerboard, this guitar, like all nylon strings, delivers warm, muffled tones, but is by no means lacking in responsiveness and definition. It features a piezo pickup and an Ibanez active preamp for easy recording on stage or in the studio. Its soundhole-less design, replaced by an opening on the top side, limits feedback problems, while allowing the musician to take full advantage of the instrument's authentic sound.
In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. Sapele is a perfect substitute for Mahogany, both in appearance and sound, although it is noticeably more crystalline due to its slightly greater hardness.
