Classical guitar 4/4 size
Following in the footsteps of the popular Godin Multiac, theIBANEZ FRH20FMN DGL is a hybrid guitar combining the fundamental acoustic characteristics of a nylon string with the playing comfort of an electric guitar (compact body, 25.5" scale, 22 frets).
Its beautiful figured maple top, laminated Sapele body, Nyatoh glued neck and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard provide warm, muted tones, but are by no means lacking in responsiveness and definition. It features a piezo pickup and an Ibanez active preamp for easy recording on stage or in the studio. Its soundhole-less design, replaced by an opening on the top side, limits feedback problems, while allowing the musician to take full advantage of the instrument's authentic sound.
Sapele is a perfect substitute for mahogany, both in appearance and sound, although it is noticeably more crystalline due to its slightly greater hardness.
