Electric guitar preamp
The PENTATONE PREAMP is a pedal from Ibanez offering extraordinary control over sound shaping, dynamic ranges of distortion and exceptional amounts of EQ, all at your fingertips. This unit combines five individual sound-shaping sections: pre-boost, distortion with two-band EQ, noise gate, five-band parametric EQ and post-boost, in an intuitive, all-analog platform. In addition, a light switch enhances treble response by boosting the high-frequency range. The two built-in footswitches control bypass of the preamp and post-boost, while an external Ibanez IFS2L footswitch makes it easy to switch the pre-boost and five-band parametric EQ. From simple tone tuning to crisp overdrive and the most crushing distortion, the Pentatone preamp offers you every possibility.
