The IBANEZ Prestige Japan AZ2204AG TGB solid body electric guitar is the result of a collaboration between the Japanese brand and today's top guitarists. This high-flying guitar features an Alder body, a neck in torrefied Maple and a fingerboard in Rosewood (the torrefaction process improves the stability and robustness of the species, favoring vibrations and thus the guitar's natural acoustics).
The instrument's design has been specially crafted to offer optimum access to the high notes.
What's more, thanks to the Seymour Duncan® Hyperion pickups and their unique wiring, the Ibanez AZ is capable of delivering an impressive palette of sounds: no fewer than 10 different tones are available. The result of a collaboration between Ibanez and Seymour Duncan, the Hyperion pickup set brilliantly rises to the challenge of covering a range of tones from crystal clear to saturated metal, passing seamlessly through all the in-betweens. The single-coils deliver rich, thick sounds that enhance the natural character of the instrument. A traditional Gotoh high-precision vibrato and Gotoh locking tuning machines complete a remarkable set of specifications.
