The IBANEZ Standard RG8EX BKF eight-string solid body electric guitar (27" baritone scale) features impeccable lutherie and combines a wide range of influences to deliver optimum playing comfort, sound quality and aesthetic appeal for contemporary metal guitarists.

Meranti body, bolt-on neck in Maple, Jatoba fingerboard, 24 frets, Ibanez IBZ-8 humbucking pickups, Ibanez F108 fixed bridge/cordial. The body is made of Meranti, a sustainable and widely available wood from the forests of Southeast Asia. The fingerboard is made of Jatoba (or Brazilian Cherry), a wood with tonal characteristics close to those of Pau Ferro. Both warm and punchy.
