IBANEZ Axe Design Lab SML721 RGC solid-body electric guitar, multi-scale (progressively shortened from the low E string at 25.5" to the high E string at 25"), Nyatoh body (Mahogany substitute), five-piece Maple/Walnut bolt-on neck, Rosewood fretboard set with 24 fanned frets, Ibanez Q58 pickups, fixed bridge.

Initially developed for Headless models, the Q58 pickup has a clarity that allows all the notes of even complex chords to be distinguished. Present and defined low frequencies, glossy highs without aggressiveness. Sound combinations are doubled thanks to the dyna-MIX10 switching circuit. An instrument equipped with a multi-scale fingerboard with fanned frets offers two major advantages: - optimized string tension for modern tuning (down-tuning) while maintaining optimal intonation - less muscle and tendon stress.
