Solid body electric bass

Mixing the worlds of electric and double bass, theIBANEZ Bass Workshop SRH500F NNF is a 5-string electro-acoustic fretless with a semi-hollow body.
The SRH500F's hollow mahogany body, topped by a spruce top, offers a particularly comfortable playing position, with a chamfered forearm. 5-piece Jatoba and Bubinga necks with Panga Panga fingerboard provide easy access to the high registers, thanks to an ergonomic heel.
Equipped with an AeroSilk piezo bridge and D'Addario flat purfling strings, this Ibanez offers a more than credible double bass sound. Comes standard with D'Addario ECB81 flat purfling strings. Panga-Panga is a cousin of Wenge, considered by some luthiers to be close to Brazilian Rosewood.

Guitare basse aux sonorités chaudes. On a l'impression d'avoir le velouté d'une contrebasse. La 5ème corde est utile pour transposer avec des chanteurs. Un instrument très agréable, impossible de ne pas tomber amoureux si on aime ce genre là...
Juste une chose étrange: des points sur le manche et sur le côté permettent de se repérer mais ils sont décalés par rapport à leur ligne (environ 1 cm). C'est un peu étonnant, mais on finit par jouer sans les repères, donc ce n'est gênant sur le long terme. Pour une basse fretless jazz, c'est un instrument de rêve ????
